Residential Solar Review
We model your roof, your usage and your tariff and tell you the range of outcomes solar would realistically produce. If the numbers do not work on your property, we say so — that is the point of an independent review.

FAQs
Do I need planning permission for solar panels?
In most cases roof-mounted domestic solar is permitted development in England, Scotland and Wales, with limits on how far panels protrude and additional rules for listed buildings and conservation areas. Check the Planning Portal guidance for your property.
Is solar worth it in the UK?
It depends on roof orientation, shading, how much electricity you use during daylight and your unit rate. On a well-orientated unshaded roof with daytime usage, the modelled payback typically falls in a range rather than at a single number. Our review shows the range and the assumptions behind it.
